A Place for Everyone
Every summer, around 1500 Jewish campers from over 20 countries attend Camp Szarvas, which is sponsored by the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (AJJDC). Each summer 70-75 Szarvas Fellows are selected to represent North America at the camp. As American Ambassadors, they are given the unique opportunity to meet, celebrate, explore and share experiences with their Jewish student peers from around the world.

Modern recreational, housing and strictly kosher dining facilities are set amidst expansive landscaped grounds lined with ripe, fragrant fruit trees. The name Szarvas, pronounced 'Sar Vash', is Hungarian for 'Deer'.

The Foundation,which is 25 years old, has impacted Jewish life throughout Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union by opening up schools and youth centers across the region. One of its crown Jewels is Camp Szarvas which has served over 25,000 campers since its inception in 1990. The Fellowships are administered through the Ronald S. Lauder foundation. Camping World 400 Predictions For Today
I am officially deciding to stop using the term 'artificial intelligence' for the work that I do. I know the industry hasn't completely landed on a universal definition and the terms artificial intelligence and machine learning are often used interchangeably. But in my perfect world, I would like to just put artificial intelligence up on a pedestal as the pursuit of creating true awareness and understanding in machines (over-simplification of course, but for the sake of brevity). What I do, with machine learning, may lead to that some day, but right now, it's more about using data to essentially write software logic. It is much more practical and incredibly exciting in its own right. I do think this is the direction the entire industry will eventually go, but that is only an educated guess. So if you hear me say artificial intelligence, due to old habits, please correct me. Machine learning. Machine learning. Machine learning.
